Motorway Driving

Motorway Driving Make sure your car is ready for a drive on the Motorway  High speeds and long distances can increase the chance of your car breaking down so you are recommended to carry out the following checks on your vehicle beforehand: Tyres : Make sure they’re in good condition and inflated to the correct pressure for motorway driving. This is indicated in the vehicle handbook or drivers door pannel. U se a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don’t forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. Check the tyre tyres depth and that there are no cuts and bulges. There should be 1.6mm of tread depth across the central three-quarters of the breadth of the tyre, and around the entire outer circumference of the tyre.
